How Much Is Too Much Activity For A Child On The Autism Spectrum?

My son does taekwondo(3x’s a week), soccer(spring&fall)), tball(summer), basketball(winter). We were thinking about boy scouts for him. but we’re concerned it’s too much stimiulation.
How much is too much for a 9 year old boy on the autism spectrum?

My post only makes sense if this assumption holds up…”a 9 year old boy on the autism spectrum’ means you son is as developed as a 9 year old. If I am wrong, I apoligize.
If your son has autism, or any ‘mental impairment’, the Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts have a guideline which is rarely used, but it permits a Cubmaster/Scoutmaster to place said youth with an age group fitting his state of development. (thats not verbatum, but thats the way we interpret it.
My suggestion if I am still correct, contact the Cub Scouts in your area, set up a session with the local Cubmaster, he/she, will give you name of the appropriate Den Leader, or refer you to the Scoutmaster based upon his/her evaluation.
