How to get started today

At Autimistic, we think that the best approach to comprehensive support is based on the availability of recent information and data. Sometimes caregivers are not willing to share relevant data, making it very difficult to assist in any way. Without information, an Autimistic Consultant will not be able to assist a family in the best possible way.

All the Autimistic Services start with doing our comprehensive (online) ASD Intake Screening. Even when a child has already been diagnosed with ASD, this screening is still mandatory. This research-based screening will help us gather necessary and relevant information about your child’s development for the last few months. It functions as an interview, which can be done whenever caregivers have time available (30 minutes). When other persons, such as a nanny or ECIP worker, are also regularly involved with a child, they would have the option of completing the Intake Screening as well.

Every child is unique and has his / her own unique profile. Based on the outcome of the Intake Screening, caregivers receive a comprehensive report, with relevant information and recommendations. Since the Intake Screener is an objective and research-based assessment, caregivers and Autimistic Consultants will be able to rely on the results. The only time results will be invalid, is when invalid answers have been given.

After you have received your Intake Screening Evaluation report, an Autimistic Consultant will contact you to answer any questions you might have. This result-consultation (about 15 minutes) is free of charge.

The Autimistic Intake Screener is currently available at no honorarium costs. However, Autimistic does charge $5.99 for processing and administration costs.

All information gathered, interpreted and reported using the Autimistic Intake Screening will be kept strict confidential. Information to 3rd parties such as your General Physician will only be released after your written consent.
